Polycarb profiles, particularly corrugated, are very flexible and easy to crush or bend.

Attempting to drill through the crest can flatten the sheet.

This makes the use of traditional winged type fasteners to drill or ream the required clearance hole virtually impossible.

The revolutionary, new patented wing design on the IDEAL PolyMates® fastener overcomes the problems of profile flexing/bending and reams the clearance hole needed even if the profile flexes during installation.

Fastening polycarb profiles into timber or metal battens or purlins is now possible in a single operation using the innovative PolyMates® fastener.

All are available with painted heads to match pre painted profiles or materials.

Recommended Driving Speed: Low (1,000 r.p.m.) for fixing into timber and High (2,000 r.p.m). for fixing into thin metal or purlins up to 2.5mm thick. SDR14050Y
