400600 U-Grip Multi-Grip Steel Rivets with Steel Stem - Dome Head
These multi-purpose rivets suitable for general fastening in heavy duty applications. They offer high shear and tensile strength and provide a large blind side bearing for extra strength and will fill slightly oversized or irregular sized holes. The mandrel is retained in the body for further strength and they provide strong, vibration resistant connections. These Zinc Plated Steel/Steel rivets are mainly for interior uses but can be used externally if adequately painted or protected.
• These rivets feature a unique design which incorporates a cone shaped, pointed end of the rivet stem making the insertion of the rivet into the drilled holes extremely quick and easy and is especially beneficial when the holes are out of alignment

All rivets have a minimum and maximum thickness of materials for which they are designed to fix, this is known as the Grip Range of the rivet. Using a rivet with the correct Grip range for your application will ensure ease of installation and that the maximum holding power is achieved.
