FulaFlex™ FR is a high performance, elastomeric and intumescent low-modulus fire resistant construction sealant for use in interior/exterior joint sealing applications where a fire resistance level (FRL) rating is required. Tested in accordance with AS1530.4-2014. Cures upon exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a durable, permanently flexible and highly weather resistant seal. Note: Reference to H.B Fuller test reports is essential if a fire resistance level (FRL) is required.
• NCC compliant, tested to AS1530.4-2014
• Tested to AS1530.3-1999 (Report 21-000665), Spread of Flame Index = 0, Heat Evolved Index = 3, Smoke developed Index = 2
• Low modulus sealant with +/- 25% joint movement capability and excellent elastic recovery performance
• Exhibits minimal shrinkage and nil bubble formation during curing and is suitable for sealing joints from 10mm to 50mm in width
• Excellent primer-free adhesion to both non-porous substrates and porous substrates such as cut-edge plasterboard and AAC
• Excellent UV stability and weather resistance
• Can be applied to damp surfaces and is unaffected by rain exposure early in the sealant cure phase
• Excellent cold weather gun-ability
• Paintable
• Excellent acoustic properties
• Non-hazardous according to GHS regulations with Low VOC (11g/litre) and satisfies the requirements of the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA)
