Floor Bond™ XMS Sub-Floor is a high strength, high performance, permanently flexible sub-flooring and construction adhesive designed for bonding both wood and cement based wet area flooring products to either timber or steel joists. It is the ideal adhesive where long term flexibility is required, accommodating movement in the flooring system over time and reducing the occurrence of creaks developing.
• Ready to use with no mixing required
• Cleans easily from the surface of pre-finished engineered boards without changing the gloss level of the pre-finish
• Non-hazardous, solvent and isocyanate free, non toxic and easy to clean up.
• Accommodates movement in the floor over time, reducing the occurrence of subsequent creaking
• Permanently flexible over a wide service temperature range of -40°C to +90°C
• Suitable for both timber and steel joists
• Long open/working time ensuring adequate wet adhesive transfer between joists and floor sheet
• Smooth and easy to trowel
• Excellent non-slump properties, forms stable peaks once applied with a notched trowel
• Once fully cured an elastic and non-shrinkable adhesive layer is formed, which is resistant to moisture and heat.
• The adhesive contains no water or solvents, minimizing the risk of deforming timber flooring.
• Will not bubble when curing
• Acoustic rated in conjunction with matting: CSIRO Report No. INR 157
