ChemMates™ Piston Plugs are designed for use in deeper holes where it can be difficult to ensure that no air gaps occur when filling the hole with resin. They are placed onto the end of the mixing nozzle or mixing nozzle extension. Once injection commences the piston plug will be forced outwards as the resin fills the hole. For deeper holes alternate between the 7mm and 8mm extension tubes and/or use the longer extension options listed. NOTE:- Air bubbles MUST be avoided.

They are placed onto the end of the mixing nozzle or more often the mixing nozzle extension which is then pushed into and down to the bottom of the hole.
Once injection commences the piston plug will be forced outwards as the resin fills the hole.
Sufficient pressure should be applied to ensure it is the resin only that forces the piston plug outwards rather than a combination of resin and air gaps.
For deeper holes alternate between the 7mm and 8mm extension tubes or use longer tubes.
