250040 QuickMates® Series I & II Coil System - Magazine Mandrels
These QuickMates™ Mandrels are designed for use with QuickMates™ Coil magazines. Each Magazine comes complete with the mandrel. Select the correct mandrel to suit either the Series I or Series II Coil Magazine. Extra mandrels are available which enables the installer to pre load mandrels with a driver bit for extremely fast and easy replacement of driver bits. A free driver bit is included in each box of QuickMates™ screws.
1/ Remove the Coil magazine from the extension shaft.
2/ Remove the Mandrel from the rear of the Coil magazine.
If replacing the driver bit then:-
a) Place the Hexagonal end of the mandrel into the notch provided on the underside of the magazine.
b) Using a spanner or suitable tool on the flats of the driver bit unscrew it in the opposite rotation to that when it is in operation.
c) Replace with a new driver bit to finger tight only.
3/ To replace mandrel into the magazine, depress the nosepiece against the floor, insert the mandrel and it should easily drop into place.
If obstruction is encountered DO NOT force it, simply withdrawn the mandrel and try again.
2/ Remove the Mandrel from the rear of the Coil magazine.
