400650 Mega-Bolts™ High Strength Steel Rivets with Steel Stem - Dome Head
Mega-Bolts™ are designed for heavy duty, structural applications, they have high shear and tensile strength. Vibration resistant with Multi Grip feature to suit wide grip ranges. Their strength is a result of the encapsulation of the large end of the mandrel being drawn into the body of the Mega-Bolt combined with the shank of the stem of the rivet remaining intact within the materials being fixed. These Zinc Plated Steel/Steel rivets but can be used externally if painted or protected.

All rivets have a minimum and maximum thickness of materials for which they are designed to fix, this is known as the Grip Range of the rivet. Using a rivet with the correct Grip range for your application will ensure ease of installation and that the maximum holding power is achieved.
