Peel Type Aluminium Rivets with Steel Zinc Plated stems are multi-purpose rivets suitable for general fastening in light duty applications. These rivets feature a unique specially shaped mandrel head that upon setting peels into a 4 petal formation which create a large blindside bearing area. Designed for the fastening of rigid materials to soft materials or those with low resistance. The aluminium body provides corrosion resistance for use in external applications as well as internal.

All rivets have a minimum and maximum thickness of materials for which they are designed to fix, this is known as the Grip Range of the rivet. Using a rivet with the correct Grip range for your application will ensure ease of installation and that the maximum holding power is achieved.
Drill the correct size hole for your chosen rivet and ensure the total thickness of the materials being fastened together is within the grip range of the rivet selected.
