120310 SteelMates® - BulletS™ Head
Revolutionary new BulletS™ have a specially designed, screw head, recess and driving tip and is another Patented innovation from IDEAL. Specifically designed for attaching timber to metal studs from 0.55mm up to 1.50mm thick, they even work in combined steel thicknesses of 2.0mm (2 x 1.0mm). Use DJWR BulletS™ for door jambs and window reveals and Extended Point BulletS™ for skirting and architraves.
• Extremely high withdrawal strength in even the thinnest of steel frames
• Extremely high strip torque. They lock up tight into even 0.55mm metal studs, won’t let go and are virtually impossible to strip out
• Very quick and easy to drive.
• Self-drilling through the timber and into the steel frame
• Self-countersinking the head flush with or below the surface of the timber with the smallest of holes and no peripheral timber damage and as a result no sanding back is needed.
• Cam outs of the screw recess is a thing of the past.
• No more problems with timber splitting.
• A driving tip is supplied with each box of screws.
• Can be driven at high or low speed using electric or battery operated screwdrivers, drills or impact drivers.
• Complies with AS3566.1 & 2

1/ Ensure the correct driver tool is fitted to your power drill or screw driver.
2/ Place the screw on the driver tool and position it onto the materials being fastened.
3/ Push sharply to create a centre mark and to prevent screw wander.
4/ Squeeze trigger and maintain steady, constant pressure until the screw has drilled and fastened.
Recommended Driving speed is very flexible and ranges from very low up to 2,000 r.p.m.
