170040 Stainless SteelMates® - Countersunk Head
Stainless SteelMates® are unique Stainless Steel Self Drilling Screws which are able to drill through steel and other metals and provide exceptional corrosion resistance combined with superior drilling speed in the same screw. These screws feature a Countersunk head and are made from 302 Grade SS with a unique BiMetal drill point that provides a truly 300 Series fixing that drills through steel. For use in highly corrosive environments where a long life fastener is required

• Complies with AS3566.1 & 2
1/ Ensure the correct driver tool is fitted to your power drill or screw driver.
2/ Place the screw on the driver tool and position it onto the materials being fastened.
3/ If necessary push sharply to create a centre mark and to prevent screw wander.
4/ Squeeze trigger and maintain steady, constant pressure until the screw has drilled and fastened.
Recommended Driving speed is approximately 1,800~2,000 r.p.m when fixing into steel.
