170020 Stainless SteelMates® - Wafer Head
Stainless SteelMates® are unique Stainless Steel Self Drilling Screws which are able to drill through steel and other metals and provide exceptional corrosion resistance combined with superior drilling speed in the same screw. These screws feature a low profile Wafer Head and are made from 302 Grade Stainless Steel with a unique BiMetal drill point that provides a truly 300 Series fixing that drills through steel. 1/ Ensure the correct driver tool is fitted to your power drill or screw driver.
2/ Place the screw on the driver tool and position it onto the materials being fastened.
3/ If necessary push sharply to create a centre mark and to prevent screw wander.
4/ Squeeze trigger and maintain steady, constant pressure until the screw has drilled and fastened.
Recommended Driving speed is approximately 1,800~2,000 r.p.m when fixing into steel.
