160040 Fibreglass Skylight Roofing Washers
These 32mm Storm-Mates™ washers are designed for use with fibreglass skylight roofing and other equally rigid profile materials. They allow for expansion holes to be drilled and are suitable for use with 12g & 14g screws.

Step 1:-
Select the correct fastener required for your intended application, either a SteelMates® for steel substrates or TimberMates® for timber substrates and assemble the Polycarb onto the fastener selected
Step 2:-
If fixing fibreglass roofing a clearance hole is specified by the profile manufacturer, check their specifications and pre- drill the correct size hole
Step 3:-
Ensure the correct driver tool is fitted to your power drill or screw driver.
Step 4:-
Place the screw on the driver tool and position it onto the materials being fastened.
Step 5:-
If necessary push sharply to create a centre mark and to prevent screw wander.
Step 6:-
Squeeze trigger and maintain steady, constant pressure until the screw has drilled and fastened.
Recommended Driving speeds:-
• For SteelMates® fixing into steel 1,800~2,000 r.p.m.
• For Timbermates® fixing into timber 800 to 1,000 r.p.m.
• For Timbermates® fixing into thin metal battens 1,800 to 2,000 r.p.m.
